Special Programs for LPN and RN Degrees

1199SEIU members who want to become nurses have access to specialized RN and LPN programs. In addition to "cohort" classes with other 1199SEIU members, you will have access to counseling, tutoring and other academic support.
If you are in the clinical phase of an accredited nursing program and have a GPA of at least 2.5, you may be eligible to receive full or partial tuition.
If you are already enrolled in an RN program and have a GPA of at least 2.5, you may be eligible for the Accelerated Degree Program for RN Students. If you are already receiving tuition assistance and are willing to speed up your course work, the Training and Employment Funds may sponsor up to nine credits per semester rather than the standard six.
